    Odd question - anyone used to driving from up north down to london (and back)? Trains are fucked on Feb 1st / 2nd with engineering so debating making the journey by car - parking somewhere near the most Northern tube station and heading in from there maybe - any suggestions / helpful tips?

            Wally Manchester drive to London isn’t bad - you’re a couple of hours further up? Park at Brent Cross tube which is near the north circular and it’s pretty quick into town from there

                              Smallman1 Classic!

                              Supposed to be seeing Laurent Garnier that evening but getting to London with the trains fucked is a right fanny on. It’s a quarter of the train price to fly to Dublin and the journey is a quarter of the time. Ffs.

                                I’m giving the Lozza G gig at Fold a miss.

                                It’s an absolute nightmare for me to get to and get back from.

                                I would have probably have done that, but I have just booked flights to Sasha in Edinburgh for £56 in May and Love Land in August. The Mrs is getting arsey about all of my going out. Howells is tomorrow, Sasha is in Glasgow, and S&D is in Amsterdam the week after.

                                        She gets a bit arsey because she doesn’t go. The problem is I like to fly in and straight out again. If she comes you then get into Hotels, extra days, additional luggage and restaurants, what starts at £200 ends up as £1000+
