gcw Mate of mine has treated me to a ticket to see Faithless at Brixton Academy in November, which is a bit odd as we’d never discussed liking them even in their heyday. I’m more interested in catching up with my mate and having a few beers to be honest, but the remaining band members may surprise me!
Manski Off to see The The at Ally Pally next Saturday. Not been there before. Heard mixed things. Fuckers then put another date on at Brixton Academy - would rather have gone there - less of a ball ache to get to, at least!
hugopal Manski as a concert venue it has some drawbacks in terms of sound and ease of seeing the stage, but if you get to Ally Pally before sunset you can get a great view across London from the long south side of the building.
