Dan New to me! Masimbabele (Justin Van Der Volgen Remix) by The Unknown Cases….love the Headman edit of this old Balearic gem.
Wally Smallman1 What was that Roisan Murphy remix you mentioned at the time mate? Seem to recall that was a beast.
hugopal Wally He dropped a chug version of The Prodigy - Poison which was awesome too. Any idea what the remix was? I don’t think I’ve ever heard a mix of a Prodigy track which unfortunately didn’t suck. edit: aside from that one Chris Lake edit of Climbatize which Sasha used to play
Smallman1 Wally What was that Roisan Murphy remix you mentioned at the time mate? Seem to recall that was a beast. Turns out it was Grace Jones but yes it’s that track!
hugopal Dan Meh. One of my least liked Prodigy tracks to begin with, and rather generic pointless trip-hop.
apyssjw There’s a time and a place for the CJ Bolland mix of no good. They even ‘performed it’ live (did they play the wrong track off the cd 🙂
Mad_Cyril Along_the_Wire A fair cop. Mosh-pit indie dance for white middle class kids who would no doubt label them ‘visceral’, ‘blistering’ or ‘electrifying’. File with Chumbawumba and House of Pain
LT42 I saw them in 1992 when they came on the scene and it was all pills, whistles, smoke machines and lazer lights. Also black X-Worx waste coats. The whole place wearing them like its a gypsy wedding. A far cry from what they became.
