Digweed booked him a few times back then to play in Hastings, and he never showed up. He still does it now. He binned that Troxy gig off in favour of a football match and the MOS birthday.

Only ever happened to me once. Went to an event at The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes, one of those ones with Judge Jules, John Kelly etc. I remember Boy George played also. Sasha was on the flyer and by 2am my mates were saying ‘hes not coming is he ’ but i was adamant he’d turn up. I finally admitted defeat at 5.30am…would have been first time seeing him as well

What is this Troxy gig people speaketh of?

Those Jonathan Kaspar productions really land hard on the dancefloor. Mano played 1993 and his remixes of Shiffer and Lopezhouse in his set at Phonox. Was there for about four hours and don’t remember much else but he levelled the place when he played Pjanoo near the end. Fun evening. Daytime clubbing is the answer folks.

Smallman1 yeah, it was quite busy after 7 but it wasn’t full so three was plenty of room to dance. That Black Coffee/Jimi Jules track went down well. Also recall him dropping Yeke Yeke about 6:30. I kid you not!

Smallman1 it’s so easy to get a drink and there are a few raised levels to dance and you don’t get hassled by security. Bedrock should be great there
