ScottBailey I would have said Twilo got its reputation on the DJs being in their prime and the sound system. I’ve never really heard people reference the crowd. I agree if anyone is expecting to experience it like it was in the 90s, they will be disappointed. It won’t even look the same as the main room has had another level added to it, they won’t even fit the old glitter ball and Saturn ring light rig in there. I don’t think that they have any intention of building a regular night there again, but I would rather spend five days in NY, smash out a couple of half marathons, and get to see Digweed in what was once an iconic club, than spending my week in the UK doing fuck all. Return flights and five nights came in at just over £1,000, hardly a small fortune.
