Hard Times @ MOS on Sat…… realy good afternoon out. Proper packed in there which was a surprise given the shitty weather and the fact HT was a Northern club really. Music was spot on….dubby NY Garage and House. Proper groove on heads music. Ron Trent and Tony Humphries were excellent. Crowd was very clued up and happy/smiley. The revamp was very fitting in with the Zeitgeist . They’ve moved the DJ booth to the other side of the room and turned the old booth into VIP. New lighting very Hi_Ibiza…….its modern and new and suppose things move on, but preferred the old setup. Sound System was popping and cutting out from time to time too. Brand new digital system vs the old Martin analogue one. Definitely will take the DJs time to work out how to use,

Going for all light instalments and artwork today with the daughter. Venue is a 10 min drive and in my hood, so can’t really miss it.

Was hoping it would be Max Cooper warming up and Luke Slater headlining. But it’s only Luke Slater on Sunday, along with my techno DJ friends Audio Units. Can’t go for Max Cooper on Saturday.

Not sure I’ve got the minerals for Luke Slater, fine line between banging and nosebleed with Slater imo.

Along_the_Wire the one two punch of Filmstar and can’t get enough hit hard. An eerie Obsessions with just Brett and a piano followed by a blistering So Young was a highlight. His voice was fantastic and he’s still so energetic on stage. I’m never disappointed as I like a lot of their new stuff too like Dancing with the Europeans
