Spoke to quite a lot of ppl in Liverpool who were literally there because it was Bagpuss. The fanboy element was strong, even if the music is dull. Compared to Parry he was literally phoning it in.
One guy tried telling me ‘he’s never lost it’ through teary eyes. I shed a tear for him later.
As long as there’s a market, I can’t blame them. It is a little sad to see though - like watching CR7 trying to play in the PL when his legs were gone.
