alistair Got properly shitfaced and a bit sun burned at Field day yesterday. McVicar and Woolford back to back was probably the highlight. Great festival set. Finished with Dusky remix of Perth, Awesome 3 don’t go and Xpansions. Honey Dijon was pretty shit for the 30 minutes I saw plus her on the big screen writhing around in her underwear to camp acapellas was off putting. Floating Points at the end were brilliant (props to the light show and sound). Is Bucketheads getting a remake? Heard it twice, once wasn’t unwelcome, second was. Still excellent day out and well organised with loads of bars. Too many Arsenal tops though!
Hursty Turns out Idra is a decent venue, good sound, plenty of space and easy to get around Blinding set from S&D too, proper hands in the air power prog one after the other
Dry-Tinder Hursty Yeah, I wasn’t sold on the venue prior to going in there. It was nowhere near sold out. Spencer Brown, was actually quite good. Sasha and Digweed’s set was great. Arrakis - Aira Force, OXIA - Domino, and Liquid Cool all got an airing.
