909 last night was alright but not the best one they’ve ever done. I don’t think you could have a more mismatched pair than Dimitri Molosh and Zabiela. Molosh was good but way too banging for Zabiela to bring it right back down and start again from scratch and take an hour or so to bring it back up.
Not sure why the promoters went with that other than they didn’t think Zabiela would fill the place by himself and wanted to appeal to a different crowd at the same time (they were right. Even with Molosh, It was about ¾ full last night which suited me tbf)
Think it was a miss from JZ sadly. First half anyways. Mixes of Radiohead - everything in it’s right place and massive attack - angel are just so played out these days. Picked up and started playing some bangers but I’d kind of lost the mood for it at that point.
Hey ho. Can’t win them all and it wasn’t a bad night by any means. Just not the best one.
