zackster She loved God Within: Rain Cry. Both the Spiritual Thirst and Jondi and Spesh mixes. Not a joke.
Amps Wasily Amanda Seyfried Had to reread that name a few times to make sure it wasn’t a fake one like Hugh Jass or Patty O’daws.
Amps zackster Disappointing. Jondi and Spesh, technically prog royalty for We Are Connected, an absolute stone cold classic, but they added little to Raincry. But then again, nobody ever has.
Amps zackster I have a lot of stuff off of Dorigen Didn’t have that down as your sort of thing. Good label. Saw them play in San Fran back in 2003 ish. They smashed it 💪
zackster The Starcase remix of The Pheonix came out on Dorigen, and I consider that to be the most under appreciated prog trance tune of all time.
Kells77 zackster Totally agree. I’ve seen him at Detroit all years that I’ve gone and he always brings it.
zackster Kells77 Same. Only place I’ve ever seen him. He can play a wide array of the local styles and he ALWAYS gets a super up for it crowd. I’ve heard him play hiphop and booty house at Movement and Hood style techno at Minimal Detroit BBQs. Seems like he was the Dj with the best dancers every time.
C_J Kells77 Totally agree. I’ve seen him at Detroit all years that I’ve gone and he always brings it. Brings what? A chips butty?
-si- zackster Seems like he was the Dj with the best dancers every time. Sasha is going to be FUCKING FEWMIN’
zackster eeeh kinda. Godfather plays a lot of old school booty house. Sandwiches and Let Me See You Butterfly, ex ex. Usually at like 140bpms and always gets out of songs quickly. Vinyl scratch sets 100% of the time. I don’t remember how I learned of him. Think he played with Delroy Edwards or something. First time I saw him at Movement I was amazed at the size of the crowd he drew.
Smallman1 bosstrabs Are you slagging off MISTAJAM there pal? He’s a national institution. The Dj Trevor Nelson never became.
zackster -si- Don’t believe Sasha has ever played Movement. Digweed has tho. He played a set in the pouring rain one time that got him a lot of admiration from the regulars. Made up for an interview he gave when he said he wasn’t really influenced by the Detroit sound and only really played Inner City records.
