Someone’s obviously rubbed him the wrong way this morning in Waitrose.

Dan I think they were out of Greek yoghurt and coconut water.

    And organic humus.

There are a smattering of decent tracks but I can’t help feeling it’s Sasha having a mid life crisis and thinking he is Burial.

I’ll reserve judgment until I’ve heard the mix in full but the tracks on their own didn’t do much for me.

Great mix. Tracks don’t do much for me on their own either but work in the mix which is on point.

alistair More nonsense, the vast majority on here would call it out if it was a load of overplayed and boring shite, which it isn’t. I doubt you’ve even listened to it tbh, you just threw out a clownshoe of a comment which on a second listen makes absolutely no sense and you’ve come off sounding like a right spa.

I doubt Sasha will be losing any sleep over it. He’s shifted nearly 600 units on BC alone already today which is more than Quattro II has done since release on there. Pretty good figures for a mix CD in current times.

        Enjoying this.

Not tops off but the Luzoscura stuff isn’t it, I like it.

        7 breakbeats out of 10.

The parts I’ve listened to I’ve enjoyed. I don’t listen to much Sasha these days so it sounds pretty fresh to me. Far better than the tech house stuff he peddles on LNOE. Would prefer he’d stick to stuff like this.

Kumquat so at 14 quid a pop thats 8,400 gross. Gotta pay out the artists . What sort of share would they get ? 50/50 ? Pay the tax man….art work…suppose Sasha would do the mix/mastering in house? Need @Smallman1 to give us a run down of “How to make money in the Music Industry”

benson was gonna say…. interests me how much these releases actually pull in nowadays. Especially the artists share vs mixer artist. Take Quattro. I’d say Diggers gets a better margin on the vinyl (?) . Suppose there are income streams from streaming that are elongated…but a pittance. Looking at the numbers think Diggers and Sasha would be lucky to earn 10K net on any “mix” album nowadays .

Wonder how that compares to some of the GU Mixes back in the day…. or Ren 1…….
