Difficult to slam Sasha when his all night Fabric sets are so darn fun. Not interested in a short set

Dubman 😂 I’m a Digweedian myself, but not a die hard. I don’t wax poetic about his mixes. I enjoy them or don’t.

Us Digweedians too have been through dark times, most of the 00s, for instance.

Dubman It better be a new album the lazy sod.

A ‘new’ album would just be offcuts that he’d found on a rusty old HD in the back of the studio - a la Scene Delete and these Detat releases.

Would be little to no chance of any new material.

More chance of him coming out with a recipe book

Like them both. I can’t think of many DJs least of all uncle John who could put on such a classy concert of their own music like Sasha did at Barbican. Great night as was Brixton academy. Can be really creative. Respect.

alistair Prob not that much money in it once you’ve sorted everything out?

alistair I’m not saying he’s never been good, because that’s not true at all lol. I’m just saying in the last few years, he’s not really been inspiring - to me. But everyone’s allowed their own tastes anyway! 🙂

      Was great wasn’t it.

Burma and Xpander were proper jaw on the floor moments.

He played that and track 10 at Brixton at the Roundhouse

Smallman1 gutted I missed that . Was in NY working . Surprised he never did one over here TBH. People round here think he’s the dogs danglers . Worse than Brendan Blood …..

alistair Shame Track 10 will never be released. Unbelievable track that one is. Also, agree on the initial lockdown set being garbage but he trimmed up the Orchard and threw most of the top tracks into the sail-boat mix. Thought the boat was great, following listening of the boat and going back to Orchard . . . appreciated Orchard a lot more.
For those that don’t have any interest in Sasha’s direction during this Lockdown period . . . find the mood and disdain to be of bad taste. I marvel at his enthusiasm to drift into other genres and release some ‘subpar’ tracks which don’t align with his label.
Maybe I stand alone on this but the man played a role in ensuring 2019 a memorable clubbing year [at least] for me. Six hour - All Nigh Long gig in Brooklyn back in March, excellent couple of shows in North East USA accompanied by John in late July along with an Open to Close at CODA in Canada to cap off the year.
Again, may be late on my discovery but marvel at most of his work.
