Anyone posting Tanaglia’s horse photo, Budz bar, Trisco or Futureshock gets a down vote, but otherwise it’s a free for all, post some of your fave clubbing photos. I’ll kick it off with a recently discovered fave.

alistair Go on Ali, have another crack, see if you can’t forge an actual sentence, possibly with some context, we’re all rooting for you!

I also appreciate pics taken at a smallman afters. This one is particularly memorable.

Lost a lot of timber and hair since that was taken.

alistair Apologies, I just assumed you’d been at the UHU. Never heard it.

Smallman1 The chap in the middle in yellow is Dave.

It’s not massively wide of the mark.

From about 1999-2000, I was a fairly full-on UV mong, I did have the twisted hair like that and the Acupuncture trainers and some clobber from Cyberdog. Absolute cretin, really.

I kept it to clubbing nights though, which were GodsKitchen on Fridays and then Quench at Warwick SU on Saturdays. Didn’t let it infiltrate my daily clothing like the real bellends did.

Say what you like about that photo of Villalobos, but he’s using some pretty impressive underarm anti-perspirant. Cap doffed.

RichM this pic is also a great reminder that Roman Flugel didn’t always look like your middle school science theatcher.

                Lol!

Mad_Cyril I’ve been to this place…once….kinda after its heyday but I remember queuing out here with Fliss and Amps 🥳

No matter how many pills I done. That first pill each night always gave me the jitters.

My housemate was a bouncer at Cream - oh the irony lol

Not so much a photo as a video clip but Norn Iron said goodnight, sweet prince, to Lush! last week. That room was absolutely unreal when it was on form. There aren’t many UK club nights going weekly for 25 years. Credit to col for making that happen. A tear was shed over a few drinks last weekend. Not that i was there much anymore. But from ‘96 to around ’'06 it was up there with the best nights out in the UK. Some of the best selectors on the planet would say that regularly.

I think ajos’s Photos are still up on the Internet

-si- looks boss. One that got away is Lush. Always wanted to pop over and experience

Great spot, mate. That video was the second refit. The best version of the club IMHO. That dj box was front and centre of the dance floor. Same height so you were right on top of whoever was playing. Either side of it was a massive bank of avalon speakers. The rest of the sound system was hung above the dj and down the side of the dance floor. It was amazing. Met a lot of top lads and lasses in there over the years, many are still good friends to this day. Great place that provided a lot of amazing memories.

When you think about it Si, we were so lucky to have experienced what we did. Most of us have had a good 20 years at it.

Doubt it will ever get back to what it was but not sure how much of an issue it is for today’s 18 / 20 year olds. It’s not like we’ll be keeping the clubs open when we make 2 -3 nights out a year at best

Love that Lush vid Si, only ever read great things about the place, proper tops off by the sounds of it.

                      Big time.

Smashed it at its peak too.

Imagine hitting that dancefloor fuelled with 15 different types of potato and some of Sean’s dark web, petrol-cut gear. Tops off the day before I reckon. Woooo
