As per my post an hour ago, based on the wave reports the storm doesn’t seem to have been that devastating, and no other boats nearby sank.
The quote from Matthew Schanck also suggests that one would still find it surprising that such an advanced, modern ship would sink.
What’s to say it the ship hadn’t just been “engineered” tampered with/sabotaged in a way which made it much more susceptible to collapsing in a storm?
And supposed “eyewitnesses” can be manufactured. Can’t see reports of these supposed witnesses anyway.
