Amps we’re letting our back garden get fucking wild every summer too. So far our neighbors have been cool about it though.

Smallman1 bugs and birds who eat bugs sure do love it!

Homegrove The lack of mowing is great init! More time with your feet up!

Amps we actively have killed our lawn too elsewhere. Poured used coffee grounds on it to make it moss instead. Only problem with moss is that raking the leaves is a bit of a delicate job. My wife won’t let me buy a leaf blower, which is fair actually.

Just to piss off Amps and Hannu, I’ve astroturfed mine

Old-Dutch I’ve got a cat that kills loads of birds too.

        Just like it’s owner

        Lol!

Old-Dutch I’ve got turf too, great stuff. Best part is having a drink on the deck in the middle of the summer while the neighbours are all out cutting the grass and doing maintenance. I find it really justifies my general laziness.

        YERS!!!

I put my car on whilst I hear my neighbours cutting their grass just to onset the petrol I used to burn with my lawnmower

Lol I like to make sure they see me sitting around with my feet up. Work is for suckers.

        Hursty
I bought some garlic from Morrisons last week and I noticed that the cloves were really small. It came from China.

Hursty considering the big supermarkets must account for the majority of what we eat in this country, surely it’s about time they become more accountable to supporting climate change, British producers, health of the country (last one more of an ideal than something they should do).

Personally love eating South African strawberries all throughout winter.

Smallman1 good for you. Personally I never buy strawberries in this country over winter as they are shit, including the ones being imported from far away. By the time they get here the quality is poor. Plus SA ship out the shit ones to the U.K. and save the quality ones for themselves.
