…seems to have finally been called out for his recent anti-vax/lockdown mentalness, retweeting Piers Corbyn, Lee Hurst and begging-up nutters like Mike Yeadon. Acid house luminaries queuing up to give him a pasting on Twitter tonight.

Remember him getting called-out ⅚ years ago for alluding to ‘no-go’ areas of London (the non-white bits), but hadn’t realised how far he’d fallen, his feed is utterly fucking hatstand… about as far from the spirit of acid house as you could imagine.

I just took a look at Hurst’s Twitter feed - he’s fucking lost it. I think the problem with people like him is that they have too much time on their hands and delve into shit - there’s a mate of mine who hasn’t worked for over a year and he’s gone full tinfoil hat mental.

Along_the_Wire Interesting you say that, I also know a couple of people who have gone completely hatstand in a similar way. Prior to Covid I always thought that they were rational and even fairly intelligent.

The two individuals I know don’t know each other (and are both very different characters) but the common denominator is they’ve both been unemployed and/or furloughed since the first lockdown.

I bought a pair of second hand CDJ1000’s when they were new technology.
The guy who sold me them told me that he had done some building work at Danny Rampling’s and he’d just given them to him as he didn’t need them. Really makes you think etc.

Irrespective of views, I think these twitter pile ons are ugly, intolerant and unseemly though. You do wonder what it does to the recipients perhaps already fragile mental health. No one wants a suicide on their hands. Twatters a toxic sewer for misfits and weirdos to feel big about themselves

I had a degree of tolerance for this view, until I saw Remainers being barracked for all sorts of stuff, much uglier than ‘Remoaners’ (such as vermin and traitors). And yes, some of the stuff from the #FBPE dickheads was bad but not nearly as grim as the filth being spewed by the Little Englander/Brexiter right.
