    what’s the story with these events actually?

    Take Tulum for example, whats the protocol? I presume everyone attending must have a vaccine cert right?

    How has Mexico rolled it out that quickly if so?

    Ame (Kristian) played Tulum too, mid peak third wave.

    What annoys me most about all of this, is the Innversions crew are all do-gooder purist wankers and the first chance they got they were all headlining events and ignoring the advice from International governments.

    This is nearly as pathetic as playing B2B sets with Solomun imo

    Everyone’s at it. DJ’s not playing overseas gigs are now in the minority. All the DJ’s below played in Mexico in the last 10 days. The venues ask that you take a PCR antigen test within 72 hours of attending but it’s not a problem if you don’t because they don’t bother checking anyway it’s just lip service. Phones are taken off you at certain events like the Ame/Dixon because they don’t want videos of them plying their trade in the public domain.

    Coming up in the next week there’s Bedouin, Blond:ish, Maceo Plex, Audiofly, Christian Loffler and the list goes on and on…

    With these venues/events in Mexico paying top dollar and promising DJ’s discretion they’re all flocking there for a big payday, some sunshine and probably a big bag of beak.

    You’ve got to give credit to Digweed. He’s one of the few DJ’s whose taken this whole pandemic seriously. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t play any overseas gigs this year and only plays in the UK.
