Along_the_Wire Yeah, read that the other day somewhere. Daniels played for AP in high school and the Raiders really wanted him in the draft. After that, there was a multi-team gentleman’s deal between Denver, vegas, and Minnesota to draft their respective qbs in order without drama. Raiders were going to take Penix, Atlanta fucked it all up. We did get one hell of a TE in Bowers out of it, just don’t have anyone to throw the ball.

Thinking of buying Madden for the PS5 (not bought a Madden title since I had an Xbox 360 about a decade ago)… but EA College Football ’25 gets better reviews.

Which would you go for? And why?

bosstrabs NFL because you’ll be more familiar with the teams and players. College is slightly different too - the hashmarks are much wider and cause a bit more imbalance in the game which takes some getting used to

I find the games pretty hard to play now with RPO and general read option stuff - just can’t get that to work properly even after doing all the tutorials. It gets a bit boring playing it in the traditional sense, but mainly because I’ve played that so much over the years

I think Madden 16 was the last one I played, but from 02-10 I put in some time. Always liked madden better than the college version for the reasons above. It’s one of those games that takes time to learn to be half decent, especially if you play online.
