jonattonyeah here’s my take on it … he actually wasn’t that great with the raiders. he was a solid man/press corner, terrible in zone. his stats were so good in oakland because of the scheme and complete lack of secondary talent. he only ever lined up on one side of the field, so it was easy for opposing offenses. they’d shift their best receiver to the opposite side and line them up against whatever scrub was our cb2 and just toast them all game, as apparently defensive adjustments weren’t allowed. when nnamdi went to the eagles, the asked him to actually cover somebody and play more zone, so it showed his weaknesses.
