I was wondering whether to post anything about this tonight, and up pops this thread.
I don’t like going deep down the rabbit hole on the likes of Reddit communities there’s too much speculation and possibility of people attention seeking and making things up. Those serious about the topic say “the UFO topic has cancer” and I’d agree 99% of whats said in this topic is nonsense.
Last Summer I started a DJ residency which was a 50 minute drive there and 50 minutes back, 6 days a week - so I started listening to podcasts on youtube.
A few months in this whole congress thing blew up in the mainstream news and so different podcasters talked about it in a way I couldn’t help thinking: this might be legit. New York Times had it and all sorts of other, likely more credible sources.
Politicians and ex military were basically trying to get access to what these programs are, why they exist, where billions/trillions of dollars are going on these programs and doing it in a very public way in the hope that a new approach would crack it open.
They seemed to want to know how every time the highest ranking officials, including past presidents, or top line navy/air force/other miliatary try to find out what is going on, they are stonewalled as if they don’t have clearance when these are the people who should.
Every time a normal airline pilot sees a UFO / UAP they know its a career ender to bring it up, the stigma is ridiculous, they are supposed to report on risks in the airspace but today they usually know to shut up. If this is true though they should be given support.
There is something in the american constitution regarding the transparency in government spending of public funds (if I recall correctly) and the way this is being argued is that this spending is unlawful - so using that law they are trying to force the topic out into the open.
I might post some of the more interesting videos where I didn’t smell BS at the bottom of my post or later. A couple of them have fascinated me last year and I enjoyed learning there are journalists out there who sift through tonnes of stories they can’t prove and try to present what is very likely credible and being told by multiple miliataries (i.e. US and Russia have similar stories to UK and Mexico etc) and the best ones are confirmed on radar as well as by more than one pilot.
When I was young I’d get interested in this topic, never hear about it and forget it for years but as an adult I ended up with my own story.
In 2010 a friend and I were driving home through some fields near the coast in Northumberland with no light pollution and we were pointed towards the coast line. About 200m above the sea was a rotating (left to right), sparkling ‘thing’ that had a range of colours kind of marbling around it.
I looked for a red or green flashing light in case it was just a trick of the eye/helecopter or plane at an angle but it was none of those things.
It was not a disc, if anything it seemed more like there was a shape of a vintage lamp post top light, inside the pulsing light but it was not quite the same as a lamp shape either.
The best way I can describe the characteristics was it seemed to be intelligently controlled, there for a reason, it seemed to be trying to stay still but it was also sort of ‘slightly moving calmly’ as if it was on moving water. It was not exactly still.
The pulsating light around the structure “had life” - almost like “fast multicoloured semi-transparent electrical lava”. Difficult to put into writing but thats my best shot.
The light was 90% of a bright white colour but with other moving colours woven amongst the white (imagine the colours of a Zapp ice lolly from the 1990s). Kind of beautiful and charged and pulsing and energetic and interesting.
Friend and I don’t say a word but are both leaning looking and I’m slowing down to get a look at that thing hoping to get close enough to see more definition. The road has a small bend and my car’s lights started to align with the direction of it - and as if to say “fuck this there’s a light on me” - it suddenly went from it’s floating height to (I assume) up well above the height planes would be flying in less than a second. Gone.
30,000mph?? No idea of the real speed Like a magnet pulled it and ‘dink’ up it went. An impossible speed, like some kind of joke. No noise either, no sound barrier broken.
“Did you just…”
“yup”
Has anyone in here seen something like this?
