Not sure that’s the case. It’s more that they’ll likely cost you ‘against a better team’ which you’d typically expect to happen as the tournament progresses. I don’t think this is the best Germany side we’ve seen in recent years, but I’d still rank/rate them ahead of Ukraine, Denmark and the Czechs. I rated England/Germany as 50/50 at best. England should beat Ukraine, and if they do, they should beat whoever they play out of Denmark and the Czech Republic. The final would be the next time they could come up against a team that I think you’d classify as a better team - be it Belgium, Italy etc etc. Spain too at a push.
