Smallman1 Hope the chap who planned to stay on his boat during Hurricane Milton is still holding strong
LT42 Smallman1 He’s the latest social media star. Survived the ordeal and Adin Ross bought him a new boat. No doubt when the novelty of his “journey” wears off he’ll be thrown overboard in his sleep live on Tik Tok.
LT42 Mad_Cyril to be fair, thats when it was Cat5 over the Yucatan. Of course the Yankie media had a field day with this one, I think it made landfall at barely Cat2? Not enough to blow over the wheelie bins it seems.
Smallman1 Got a lovely bottle of English Rosé in the fridge as we speak Hursty. Will have my first glass around 5pm as I’m tranzing some biz today.
RichM Smallman1 I’ve been enjoying an Americano cocktail or white negroni and soda in this weather. So will be pouring myself one of those at 5pm today.
Theconsole Humid in the 90s with lots of thunderstorms here. It’s been that way all week here in Philadelphia.
Homegrove Finland moved clocks an hour back last night, and I have to say that despite having lived here all my life I’ve never gotten used to the eternal darkness that is winter in the southern parts of the country if we don’t have snow. That always helps.
hugopal Homegrove Finland moved clocks an hour back last night Dubman Ours went back as well Is Hannu really so sheltered that he thought it was something that happens only in Finland and maybe a few other places?!
303abuser We get around 7-8 hours of daylight in the winter, so not quite as severe. I used to love it when I was younger, but I need more sun now to function. Switching to winter tires tomorrow too. Yay.
