Woke up super early thinking of a song out of the blue. Not heard since 1998!
Someone re-edited that old talking heads track so that it had a proper kick / played at consistent speed compared to the original and I can not get this thing out of my head.
The bassline at 1m 04 is delightful.

That is offensively bad. Turns the original from cool, to cornier than a TUI Holidays advert. One for the Remix Death Row thread.

With the one I posted I thought if ever I were to play a bar and throw out some 115 ish Disco I’d like to see if it would work.
This one was too fast/wrong beat imo. Sounds almost like its built for a tech house set.
Deserves a thread of its own, but Miley Cyrus is up there in my guilty pleasures playlist. Her acoustic version of Jolene, and her Grammy rendition of Flowers are pure bangers.
