  • Sasha & Digweed - Brighton? Anyone

That’d be my exit point right there….

It’s certainly no superstylin on the space terrace

Dan Love to hear that on a proper system.

Dan Chariots

Smallman1 Was a Krankbrother party.

“a Krankbrother party” does sound pretty similar to Chariots tbf.

Smallman1 Back in the day, there were a terrific partnership, especially early Renaissance and then, of course, the legendary Delta Heavy Tour. Why do you ask?

If Sasha dropped those Streets and Skrillex + Four Tet tracks at the afters then he may as well pack up and go home.

    They’re both awful.

Smallman1 Great tunes to clear the afters….this one always has folk asking for local cab numbers.

Smallman1 oh come on, some of the shit that Dixon plays…and that’s in the main room . Give me Sasha every time

      A lol for Alistair.

Getting it all wrong as per.

The sort of indie shit Dixon champions. Human League B side circa 83.

Dixon is defo a marmite DJ IMO. Parts of his sets i’ve seen have been off the chart, only to then soil his pants playing some utter garbage……and thats some soiling given the clobber he wears!

        Dan Ed….what’s this number?

Not sure SD, sounds like a banger though.

The last 2-3 hours he played in Shoreditch was absolutely rocking, hammer down stuff.

Diggers nailing the Lauren Harries look 😍

          zackster

It kinda made me laugh. It was so bad, it was good. You’re there on the dance floor, he dropped it and you were like, WTF

Is Dixon worth seeing, not heard anyone really rave about him except Ed?

Hursty I’d see Kristian Beyer(Ame) over Dixon any day.

Dry-Tinder One track in an otherwise decent set. At least he didn’t play Nina

Decent. Venue in the middle of absolutely fucking nowhere, but well set up/organised. Worst bar offering I can remember at any outdoor music shindig. Renaissance clearly no longer consider themselves a premium brand. Really good sound-system. Sound at a lot of these big top / tent style events is shocking (e.g. Shugborough Hall), but this was mint. Crystal clear, thumping bass etc etc. Warm-up acts ok. Wasn’t really there to see them, but they were an adequate backdrop while catching up with mates. S+D individually really enjoyed - both banging out some awesome tunes. I don’t think they work together as well as they used to. These days, I’d far rather see them get a couple of hours each than play back to back. Just too up and down for my tastes.

Didn’t go afters. Pretty pleased based on what I’ve read ^^^^

vinnyt77 thanks for that. Sound system makes all the difference. Irrespective of line up SW4 always suffered with that given the Clapham location
