Last time I saw him he came on at 8am after Bedouin - who absolutely smashed the living daylights out of it - and brought the night from 5th gear to 1st gear with an ironic early morning sunrise opener complete with bongos and chanting. It was almost like he was trolling me as I was lying on my back rolling around in the grass looking for my lighter. I thought it was the worst start to a set I’d ever heard. Tone deaf. He’s a good DJ though. Thanks again.

Anyone seen Trikk. I do like his sound from what I’ve seen on his bolier room sets.

Yes I have. Ame followed by Dixon, 4 hours at a festival.
Ame were superb - it was the 2 of them then.
Dixon should have been on first as he seemed to take it down a notch - so I went elsewhere.

Hank_Solo its like he comes with a pre-planned set and he wont shift for man nor beast. Granted if the timing is right it works but its a bit pretentious to work that way especially if you take a heaving crowd of banged up lunatics down to 118bpm after they’ve been swinging at the coalface for hours and they want to keep swinging.

We booked Krysko years ago when he was the resident at the Warehouse Project and he said Dixon’s first visit was one of their best nights. Notable mentions for Weatherall and Zabiela.

Id have gone for a Rylan tan and better teeth whitening , but horses for courses. Maybe thrown in a white wife beater and some arm tats to complete the remodel .

It is possible that not faffing about in nightclubs until 5 in the damn morning, week-in/week-out - at 50 whatever years old, no less - could do wonders for one’s complexion and general well-being. Our guy was practically living on airplanes much of the time.
