As I recall, based on something he posted elsewhere, Big Fella revealed him to actually be called Ian who lived in a small Scottish town.
He then went absolutely mental whenever anyone referenced it, or called him ‘Ian’. Or mentioned the story about him having worked in Eastern Bloc records, which he also made up.
