I’m gonna assume that many of the people rushing to the pumps in a media driven panic are the same type of people who where fooled by a slogan on a bus… I wonder if as they sit there in the queue they feel empowered… as if they have taken back some sort of control…

Christian The kids got me up early doors this morning anyway so decided to be a panic buying wanker and fill the car up. Four cars deep at station at 6.30am. It’ll be CARnage later on.

I was doing an FTP test on my bike and needed a clear 25 minute run - got up early to make sure there was no traffic, but the fucking queues anywhere near a petrol station were ridiculous - crammed to cunting point with fuel-based thickets.

Tbf, it’s the press deliberately stirring up shit. They ask the gov is there’s a shortage. No answer = panic buy. ‘No shortage’ reply = panic buy. ‘Yep, shortage’ = panic buy.
