Kells77 Ouch…you guys are brutal to poor Lee

For me it’s just frustration and nostalgia. He used to be so good at throwing all sorts of things together and having it make sense. Going from Halo to Hybrid with just one track in between. Not that anymore. For the style of house he’s going for, I’d rather listen to Unbroken’s sets.

    Smallman1

Still lovin’ track 5 on this - the same on the UWS thingamabob…

Jules72 While we are at it, more generally ive not been very impressed with the quality of the music in sets I’ve heard the last few months….house music in a rut?

    Are you fucking serious mate?

For the record,i don`t mind a fair bit of the Anjuna stuff.Flame away if you must.

        strummer
Have noticed you post a lot of Anjuna tracks. I did buy a lot of their stuff a few years ago. But not anymore.

strummer Excellent stuff from Anjunadeep until the recent years. Even Jody’s artist album was generic deep house.

Anjunadeep release a lot of stuff. Not all of it is good but they do have a propensity to discover new artists and producers. Marsh 1992, Dosem Extraction, Nox Vahn Come Together. The Rodriguez Jr Phoenix/Amargosa EP last year was class. I am also partial to some of the stuff that Yotto and Luttrell release. They also brought Dusky to everyones attention

strummer yup i reckon just 2-3 sets ive heard during this lockdown were memorable…obviously just me then

            alistair Dosem

I do like Dosem’s techno tracks but not keen on his deep house.

Liking Anjuna’s middle of the road output and not liking Ame’s recent hammer down mayhem, tops off set sums Strumsy up.

            Hasn’t got a clue.

The older I’ve gotten the less I like hammer down mayhem. Diggers on a 3am finish is about as much as I can stomach at a Bedrock night, much prefer the Damo sound these days.

Roll on the next bunker session.

Along_the_Wire Same here. My tastes have noticeably shifted over the last few years. I put it down to the fact that I never go clubbing anymore. I’m still willing to give al sorts of mixes a go, but find myself turning stuff off that I would have loved a few years back.

Matt that’s why I’ve shifted to a Bob Moses kind of sound…. not enough of it around though - lot of downtempo is bleepy chug or ethnic sounding garbage

Anybody listen to Dixon? He just finished. I’m out on a terrace getting wasted.

Dixon TL. I’ve yet to listen to it.

Nice. Always have time for a Dixon set. Like I’ve said before, don’t love every track and might find only one or two I’ll purchase, but the flow and the mixing make for a good listen IMO.

                      Smallman1

You’ve been uncharacteristically negative lately, Ed.

Might need to get it in, my man.

Ed’s spot on here. It’s bloody awful.

                      Great set from Mano

Disappointed doesn’t quite cover the way I feel about the Dixon-set. DJ Boring - Like Water is a hell of a track though.

The first one of Lee Burridge’s three streams last night is on Mercury Server, and….Quite nice actually?

It was a weird idea to release three prerecorded streams one after the other on a Sunday-evening though.

Nick Muir’s supa Tuesday 15 was superb again last night.

Ame (Frank) is live now on their Facebook-page. Looks fun, they are live streaming a social distancing party with 200 people.
