Along_the_Wire i totally understand. it’s going to be a humid 27 degrees here today and i have to decide if i should wear shorts to go see a german shepherd who likes to bite people. i’ve decided that risking some skin is worth it, i’d rather sweat less.

HopHead I was working on an NDA’d RFP
At an old company I’d had a gargantuan weekend and went into work properly struggling.
As soon as I walk through the door on the Monday, the MD asked me about where we were at with an opportunity.
I said we’d just need to sign the mdma and then they were going to send us the brief.
He said “we just need to sign the what?”
I said “NDA” hoping I’d got away with it and he said “I heard you the first time.”

I’ve only ever had one major reg at work. After a legendary long weekend in London, I flew back home (after a mad dash to pack up at the hotel because we were late checking out and arriving at Heathrow completely fucked from an afterparty at a friend’s flat) and had to go straight into work, clothes rumpled, eyes red and half closed, probably smelling of vodka, since vodka snorting was an activity at that particular afterparty 
.
Thankfully, at the time, I had a boss that also likes to “have a good time” and she took pity on me. It was the worst workday.
Forgot about snorting vodka.
