Initially done for a mate’s radio show, but thought I’d post it up here instead. Includes a few oldies and some upfront stuff from Freerange/Vince Watson.
I finally managed to check out your mix mate (listened while I was in the depths of being ill with Covid). That is a great example of how you do a proper 60 min mix. Best bit for me was the LCD Soundsystem tune. Love those moments when you get an awesome vocal that you’re not expecting that soars over the mix and takes it in a different direction. Could imagine it going down well on the radio.
….lovely mate, it snuck in kinda late but Øresund might be the best track of last year.

Dan ooof - 6 hours - no breaks - this will do me for my long drive to the north and back next week! top stamina! what did you do between mixes ? - i suppose its a more active way of watching a test match if its on!!!. i struggle to keep concentration once i’ve lined up the next tune on the digital format. vinyl is a no rest medium!!
Update : nice tribute to Dave Gahan on his 60th birthday! Can you believe that ? The “time marches on never ending” thing is truly absurd.
