I’m surprised there hasn’t been a thread like this made already, there was only the Mix of the Year one.

So what was it?

For me, probably this:

mono-stereo I’d probably put it a bit nearer to 140 bpm than 150, but that is the tempo at which it was made and which Hadone plays it at.

I’m well aware though that most of the folks on here really struggle with anything recent that’s above 128.

Mono is being a complete bastard to everybody this week.

First time I heard this I hated it. Now my wife hates it because I played it so much at home.

Out at the prog coalface, this took my head off when Sasha dropped it in September.

hugopal got 34 of the buggers on my most recent mix (including that one alistair ) 😉 but struggling to pick one! If I had to pick, maybe this one…

mono-stereo Are you sure that record is being played at the correct speed?

Turned it off after 3 seconds.

hugopal Just had the neighbors moaning about that gem.

Dan Played that in a mix this morning, a Great track. Can only imagine what it would sound like on a good club system.

Matt Can see it properly going off.

Dan that is up there as track of the year for me too.

        Alongside this

It’s out on BP but only as a radio edit.

Mike’s still not over me banning him on Bedrock. Then again I didn’t know it was Mike.

Amps Do you go to a lot of Chippynonstop gigs?

Had never heard of them before.

Seems they have a Hör set and it actually begins with a Hadone track, but then descends in to a (vomit) remix of Britney Spears ‘Toxic’ and then mostly 160bpm hardcore/gabber type stuff.

Checked out their Mixmag set as well, again mostly 160bpm hardcore/hard house/gabber type stuff, including a (sick-bag) Destiny’s Child ‘Survivor’ remix.

It’s definitely too fast and tacky for me.

hugopal It’s a she. Massive norks. Awful music. Big following though. Mixmag love it.
