Heno

I just watched some different highlights here and they did actually say he’s the greatest of all time . Unfortunately it was Alcaraz has beaten the greatest of all time.

Dan we’ll see, wasn’t the case at Roland Garros and Flushing Meadow is similar im speed to the Laver arena which Djok has won 10 times. Djok is still 2-1 in Grand Slams wins this year

Seems like a really good bloke Alcaraz.

Cheers!

Like him or not, ND is undeniably the best player of all time and anyone worth listening to will say as much. It’s a stats based sport determined by Grand Slam wins and head to heads over rivals many years. 23 majors and counting and a better head to head record against Nadal and Federer. Furthermore he is the only player to have won each of the slams at least three times. The case for the defence is merely based on personal feelings.

Seems like people are reluctant to say it which is fully understandable based on how much of a whopper he is off the court. Hard to deny him of it though as much as I hate the cunt. Weirdly I ended up wanting him to win yesterday.

alistair It’s a stats based sport

Stats discussions are overwhelmingly tedious though

Alcaraz and Djok in their first post Wimbledon final in the masters 1000 in Cincinatti. Should be class @Dan

Dan Fabcy Djok in 3 in this one. Think he will be fresher having passed on Toronto

Check the highlights if you didn’t see it. 3 hours and 49 minutes three set classic. Unbelievable standard @Dan

Sky’s much trumpeted full coverage of the US Open is underwhelming. Dead beat commentary and matches that don’t work. Bring back Castle and Lloyd

            Loyd & Castle?

I like Loyd as a pundit… He played during the golden era of Conners & McEnroe and wasn’t a bad player. He’s also from Southend on Sea so he’s down to earth. Castle on the other hand was a useless player and even worse at commentary. His highlights are taking Becker to 4 sets at the US Open and losing to Wilander having been two sets up.

            Twat.

            Best commentary personal IMHO
            Mcenroe
            Mats Wilander
            Pat Cash
            Tim Henman
            Boris Becker
Jimmy Conners (he keeps things really simple - even Rec players can benefit from his input)
