Homegrove When I said broad sense, I meant they’re both anti-imperialists, especially when it comes to the US. It’s ok to comdemn Putin and his actions, it’s also ok to condemn Zelensky for betraying the Ukrainian people in 2015 after he ran on a “Peace with Russia” platform that over two thirds of the country voted for. Yanks pushed for Ukraine to take back Crimea and the Donbas. It’s evidently true that they wanted this war and Putin fell into the trap. That’s basically Stone’s position on it. He’s balanced on this subject at least. There’s nothing wrong with pointing out the hypocrisy.
It’s a proxy war between the US and Putin and has been since Zelensky was installed. The Neo-Cons have gone all in and the propaganda campaign is both impressive and frightening.
All this talk of Scandinavia being invaded really is bizarre. It just goes to show how powerful the campaign is, of controlling opinion by mass media tsunamis of bilge.
I guarantee you this whole thing will fizzle out with a whimper on the Eastern borders in the next few months. It’ll be boiled down to militias and mercenaries shelling each other for the next 10 years.
