Other than that, I cannot tell you a lot about the place. But this whole wagner thing could go one of 2 ways.

I reckon some more people are gonna fall out of windows though.

C_J is Prigozhin an asset of the West? Stranger things have happened. At this point it looks highly unlikely though as his past suggests he’s a hardliner against the West. He probably has his eyes on the biggest prize, being leader. There are already several directorates around the country displaying murals of him as the leader. Strange times indeed. hugopal Anything is possible at this stage. It also looks like this operation has been months in the planning. I saw statements from Wagner back in Oct/Nov last year that alluded to something like this eventually happening.
The recent crying from Progozhin about the MoD not sending ammunition and reinforcements may have been a smokescreen as he was stockpiling all along.

Putin has basically used every trick in his book now and no one is buying so the Russian elite are replacing him with a new manager. One they think will not have their bluffs called so readily by the West.

Think it’s pretty easy to imagine the Russians being kicked out of Ukraine in the short term (read somewhere that >95% of their army is in Ukraine)… and that there will be very little appetite amongst Russians and their leadership to try again anytime soon.. will be a lot harder for the Russians to seize land again given that the Ukrainians are now much better equipped. Who the hell knows what’s coming for Russia, but this is probably the end of the occupation. Fucking great day.

I’d agree with Jules here. The Russians over-extended in every area and just like Afghanistan they eventually bled themselves dry and it led to the collapse of the USSR.
This conflict has similar characteristics albeit far more brutal in terms of losses and the enemy they faced.
There are already reports of large scale surrenders in Ukraine by Russian soldiers and there seems to be very little resistance on the road to Moscow.
All things considered it looks like the momentum is with Wagner and Putin’s circle of trust has grown far smaller, if that was even possible.
If reports are accurate and some Wagner brigades are already within 200km of Moscow then we should see some combat in or around the city. This will surely end the war in Ukraine, there’s no obvious way for Putin to reverse the tide.
