I am sorry, but this was not the work of a world power that could get past the DSA, FBI, CIA, Pentagon, or anyone else for that matter.

Because that’s basically what they’re operations amounted to on social media. The other part of the Op was to compromise many in DC and on Trump’s team. You know the names by now.

By the way, the “coup” can be looked at in a couple of ways - yes it failed, if turning Moscow into Aleppo was the mission statement but ultimately its been very successful in severaly weakening Putin and the structures built around him. It seems to be common knowledge now that there were many in the MoD who played their part in facilitating Progozhin’s attempt, not because they want Prigozhin to succeed but because they want Shoigu and Gerasimov gone too. Putin’s next job will be to nail those involved from within the MoD. Plus the chances of Prigozhin repeating some kind of uprising are still extremely likely given what’s happened in the last 24hrs. Nobody can predict what comes next however.
