mono-stereo It’s the bunker mentality and at what point he sees himself as a ‘cornered rat’ which concerns me. He talks about only nuking due to ’Russia’s existential threat’ but I actually wouldn’t be surprised by now if he sees Russia as ‘Putin’. It’s hard for any of us to see / feel what bunker mentality is really like, and to think under those conditions.
I’m more concerned about the smaller nukes which don’t wipe out towns / cities but would hypothetically take out a base and ‘only’ 10,000 people nearby. We all see nukes that would level London as not an option but those smaller ones could well be on Putin’s list in the state of mind he is in.
He’s said he’s not going to do things so many times and then blatantly done them now.
