The whole situation is abhorrent, Hursty but its war, innocents will be killed, raped, set on fire, starved and buried alive. Rules and morality don’t exist. The only way it stops is when one side runs out of cash and nobody is going to help bar sending weapons and ammo. From what I’m seeing if RU does finally take over Mariupol they will already be strangled, encircled and cutoff by the Ukrainians moving in from the West. Zelensky himself needs to sacrifice his own people to succeed. That’s the harsh reality. The UAF are so dug in at that steel plant that the Ruskis will probably never succeed there anyway. Its a war of attrition and the Russians are looking most likely to lose.
