Mad_Cyril When I first went digital, I wanted to keep it as close to playing with vinyl as possible. I didn’t use any of the digital tools for ages. 10 years on, my thinking has changed a little.
My default setup is all the wizardry turned off, pitch -10, but if there are tracks I want to play, I don’t mind locking the key or even bumping it up or down one (if I think the track can take it).
Beat matching at -10 takes a bit of getting used to, but also opens up more options for the next track.
