Mad_Cyril i bought wavepad which is fine for a bit of rudimentary editing and conversion.
Amps …AIFF, hence why they are preferable to WAV’s for me
Unbroken1 Winner cheers.
Mad_Cyril iTunes is very good actually.
Homegrove Never thought of that!
Mad_Cyril I buy most of my music off Bandcamp these days . I always download the Wav file but if I want the MP3 file I download that as well.
Dubman Rekordbox is recording my mixes in .wav format, so a bit too large to move around
Mad_Cyril I see. Can you not use Audacity software.
Dubman Maybe, will check out.
Cheers Dubbers, as always
Dubman That’s what I use. Probably better stuff out there, but for the amount I use it, it’s a decent free option.
Played for 4 hours last night, mostly new music, and listened to recording today. A very humbling experience. Key clashes all over the place, no clue of any flow. The moment you think you’re good you’re not. Over confidence is a bad thing too.
Homegrove i wd not be too hard on yourself! the flow if it ever comes (hardly ever for me) comes from knowing your records really well and having an instinct for what will work - rarely happens when working with a lot of new tracks - still what do i know - you are miles better than me!!!! i would totally shit myself playing on strange equipment to any actual humans!!!!!
Wasn’t being too hard on myself, more happy. Keeps me focused knowing I still can’t half ass this after 19 years.
Dubman Lol.
Sounds like one of my mixes. Need to get some vinyl 😁
Dubman How he doesn’t actually name Nina Kraviz is beyond me.
Dubman Have just been listening to someone do a ‘guest mix’ on 6 Music and it’s basically this. Can’t see who it is, but I can only assume they are a producer of some sort, because if they where a DJ they would be out of work.
LOL. Spot on.
Mad_Cyril Just turn the screen off. Same effect.
Amps PT 3..how to look cool behind the decks.
I just need the hat & glasses and I’m all in..cunta-claus is coming soon though.
