benson I’ve got that aswell. For the price, it’s a fantastic bit of kit.

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting back into the mix n’ blen myself. The sc6000s look like real contenders to CDJs. Mixer wise I’m waiting to see if/what Allan and Heath replace the DB4 with. I reckon they might have somthing cool in the works.

To be honest, I can’t really be arsed mixing vinyl and for my use case of playing to me alone or a few Mates after a few beverages, it’s fine.

I tried using sone pre amps and they were rubbish. Might play around a bit more

All the vinyl I have needs to be pitched down to about -20% anyway.

mono-stereo …people have been waiting years for that mate! I’m not sure they will replace it tbh, the 92/96 make up most of their sales

Incidentally, I emailed A&H to ask if they had a replacement in the works.

They basically told me to fuck off 😆

benson I have the S2 Kontrol and I’ve no idea about half the stuff on it 🤣

I’ve got 2x xdjs and an A&H mixer. Works for me

Mad_Cyril Stand-alones and a rotary you massive whopper.

Fuckin hell yes, how did I miss this, some sort of cold war, nuclear sub spec rotary is right up Millsies chug straus / minge. Literally keeping ‘Terry’ from BCST in business.

        mono-stereo

        Lol.

Yeah I doubt the DB4 is being replaced. Even all the rental houses said nobody at gigs / festivals etc ever hired them in and they just sat there collecting dust. I know a few die hard fans, but I can understand why commercially AH wouldn’t be interested.

If you want the DB4, you may as well get it for a bargain and enjoy yourself.

Can’t wait to get permanent set-up when the eldest moves out. XDJ-XZ, a PLX-1000 and a second hand XDJ-1000Mk2. I can shut the door and the incessant mithering simply disappears.

I’ve got a DJM-500 up in the loft somewhere.

        Plus the other 1200 mk2.

        Could take it right back.

Gave my old CDJ800s to nick Muir about 9 years ago.

Honestly I think I’m digital only now

As has been mentioned, trying out first before buying is a good plan. I couldn’t get on with the feel of Denon (despite being attractive looks and functionality wise) and went with Pioneer after trying them both out in the shop. This was 5 years ago, so maybe things have changed since then.
