303abuser I’ll get absolutely destroyed on here for saying it, but Hysteria is one of, if not, my favourite albums ever.
Best music DVD you've ever seen?
ScottBailey Pour some sugar on Scott for fuck’s sake.
ScottBailey it’s a great album, i feel like a lot of the production was fantastic. it was a mutt lange album if i recall. i remember the first time i heard gods of war, the atmosphere on that record blew my 10 year old mind up.
alistair Me rocking out to Def Leppard at Birmingham NEC whilst Al’ is rocking out to George Michael at West Hamstead public toilets…
- Edited
ScottBailey I am not ashamed to admit I like George. Not in that way of course Brilliant live too. Ever so slightly more talented than Joe Elliott and the one armed drummer
Gorillaz Demon Days Live dvd, just because I was at the gig and it was superb
Loved The Prodigy Electric Punks and Beastie Boys Sabotage on VHS back in the day.
faith was a great album around that time too. pop music ain’t what it used to be.
yeah no argument there.
alistair Barry Manilow fans say the same thing…
ScottBailey LOL
Depeche Mode - Devotional. Dave Gahan with long hair and full of heroin, also on top of his game as a vocalist and definitely as a front man. Great stage design by Anton Corbijn. Also a plus that he shot it in wide format, unlike most concert DVDs at the time. I hope they master that next, the Blu Ray of 101 was amazing.
ScottBailey Talk about getting an easy ride. This board has completely lost its bite. Terrible album.
To be honest, I’ve often found music DVDs a self indulgent load of old shit.
A lot of artists don’t really have much interesting to say. Therefore, the better ones are the ones that are heavy on the music and less so on the interviews.
Nirvana Reading is a good shout, whoever said that.
