However, one likely possibility which the guy manages to miss despite making such a lengthy video, is that one of the reasons why “Prydz pretty much refuses to even acknowledge its existence” could be because it was never his idea to make the track to begin with.
It wouldn’t surprise me if after Ministry of Sound failed to get Bangalter & Falcon to release their track, they decided to just commission their own version as they knew it would be a smash. So they then rang round a bunch of up-coming and technically accomplished producers offering to pay a fee to knock up a version, and they eventually found Prydz to agree to do it. So Prydz might not have ever had any affinity for the track or idea, but just did it for some easy cash.
