Picture the scene. It’s 08:00am on Sunday morning and you have just arrived home after a fantastic night at a club where the DJ killed it, You are still feeling the effects of the chemicals that are coursing through your brain. Everyone wants to hear some music but nobody wants more of the boom boom boom you have had for the last 8 hours. Suddenly the strange man who you met at the club stands up, pulls a USB stick from his pocket and walks towards your decks.
‘Anyone mind if I play some tunes?’ he says and the group murmur their approval.
What follows blows the collective minds of the assembled crew.

          We are pleased to welcome a very special guest DJ on MixPub’s Afters slot this Sunday with the inimitable @Homegrove

          He’s taken a break from his hectic schedule of heavy metal, rewatches of Heat and the occasional can of IPA to put together a very special mix. This is what he had to say:-

          “Inspired by a pile of John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish and Orkidea mix CD’s, Homegrove started his journey into electronic music in 2001. Through hard grafting, consistent networking, and spending almost every penny on music, Homegrove has developed a record collection to die for. Labelled as one of Finland’s top class DJ talents, he has won the hearts of many bigger Finnish DJ’s and charmed dancefloors across the country.”

          Afters gives DJs the opportunity to dig deep into their musical history and roots to play the music they love that inspired them for a back to mine journey on your Sunday afternoon.
