I wake up every night from a feverish dream, all I can remember from the dream is it starts with the calendar showing June 10th 🫣

ScottBailey Sparc followed by Trisco. Anyway, Jobse’s made it fashionable again to play a set of oldies but goldies

Well, this was pretty good. The last 40 mins in particular which included an unreleased version of ‘John Digweed & Nick Muir - Live Off the Grid (Diego Moreira Edit)’ along with a couple of his other unreleased edits and remixes. South American Prog at it’s finest.

    or here if you prefer

I’m really starting to panic now.

Not sure this is good for my health 😳

Might need to break into ½ hour chunks for planning purposes

Mad_Cyril Might need to break into ½ hour chunks for planning purposes

Not a bad idea. If it’s any consolation, I’ve barely bought anything the last few weeks and there’s not a lot on my Beatport list that’s in the hold bin either. I might have to do the Trisco hour 😅

        No consolation whatsoever!

        Thanks for trying though

I think you need to be telling me that this is normal, all part of the process, and will only enhance the end product.

Or bullshit to that effect 😂

Mad_Cyril You’ve got this mate. Track selection, cue in/out points, harmonics, job done 🙂 Don’t over complicate it!!

Thanks Pete, still working through item 1.

Pretty sure I have my last 3 tracks sorted!!!

erik look forwardto hearing your set

So am I mate, it hasn’t been conceived yet 🤣

Mad_Cyril rarely does the 1st draft ever make the final recording.

Have you got a handful of tracks that are ‘nailed on’ to play yet? I’ve got 7, and am currently trying to find connectors (either before or after) for each of those. Sometimes get lucky and find a run of 3.
So long as you keep the original spine, the filler will come and go over the next few weeks as new stuff gets released or you remember old stuff. The hard part is making all of those sections work together.
Hope that helps more than my original comment 😆

I’ve got a rough approach in my head, built across 3 or 4 sections, need to find tracks that fit.

‘Spine’ is currently the last 3 tracks, which isn’t helpful.

Just going to chuck all my favourite tunes in a playlist later and see if I can make them fit.

If I can’t will go onto the next stage - shitting bricks 🧱!!

Scott Stoneage our friend and resident DJ tragically passed away last month. He was 43 and had just embarked on the next stage of his life in music, producing some tracks which he had sent off to labels including Selador. Scott’s passing came as a shock to us all and he leaves behind his wife, children and a network of family and friends across the country and the music world. On Friday 15th April from 19:00GMT/20:00CET we are holding a celebration of his life on Mixpub, his home as a resident DJ. Erik Bruce and NJT will be our DJ’s on the night and we have a last, unreleased set from Scott that he recorded in the days before he left us. We will be trying to raise some money to help support his loved ones at this difficult time and a ‘Just Giving’ link has been set up for this here. Please donate something, however small, if you are able. His wife and children will appreciate it.

Introduced to the underground club scene in 1992 he has been following house, progressive house, techno and electronic sounds ever since he was a regular at Cream from 1995. Then later at the infamous Alderaan. Spending time promoting Aztec at the Lemon Lounge, The Masque and Nation in Liverpool. His biggest influences include, Detroit Fiend, Steve Parry, John Digweed, Sasha, Mr. C, Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Nick Muir plus many, many more..
Passionate about supporting artists who produce music that resonates with him, Kenny loves creating sets that build with dreamy, warm, dark and dirty sounds. Enjoy and dance!
