ArchimedesQ a bit gentle for me overall, but I actually thought that was alright. Definitely has a hypnotic vibe.

I do partly understand the point in your original post about how you can hear the link with some of the more heads down prog from the glory days, certainly more so than most of what those jocks now peddle.

Some of it actually reminds me of stuff on Disc 2 of Nick Warren’s Budapest, e.g Sphere ‘Gravity’.

Having said all that, I must add that all your intro and outro bits are pretty lame and imo don’t really fit with the music.

ArchimedesQ belter. Melkweg on Friday nights used to have locals playing stuff like this.

Dubman I really like Claudio PRC, some real great releases. He has just put his debut album on Bandcamp for free. Real nice album too.

Dubman Wahey, he finally posts something!

Yes Claudio PRC is very good.

I’ve given this mix of his a few spins:

A couple of my mates do an excellent weekly mix from a dungeon somewhere up in Scotland:

Tozzi, God’s Planet, Hydrangea, Bas Dobbelaer, THNTS, Nigm.. usually keep me sane at work and block out the unwanted racket in the office.

ArchimedesQ i love all this esp the great Tozzi but its a bit of a niche interest - fuck knows who dances to it in clubs . I had a phase of buying some of the vinyl releases on Hypnus but the post brexit posting and tax shite is really putting me off. they vinyl is weirdly heavy which must bulk up the cost too!!!

baggers44 i love all this esp the great Tozzi but its a bit of a niche interest - fuck knows who dances to it in clubs

Loads of people in Berlin for one thing; Luigi Tozzi was even at about blank a couple of weeks ago. Just check out the artists’ RA events pages.

hugopal that’s good to know - i probably ought to go to Berlin before i die!

baggers44 You may be right mate, I guess it depends on your definition of niche. For sure the artists that I follow on Soundcloud have a pretty large fanbase and seem to get a lot of plays. I love the technical know how of these producers as getting these sounds isn’t easy. Not sure the UK has ever really been on board with the deeper side of techno. Unfortunately it’s always been a very blunt instrument in the UK,
