        Dave has awful taste in music, trabs and clobber.

        He does excellent taste in BANTS though, the lord really does giveth and taketh.

        Their first album was on EMI, so definitely not indie in the literal sense.

        They don’t even sound remotely indie.

        Mainstream pop. The DJ would’ve been lynched if he’d put Duran Duran on.

        Another litmus test is if more birds than fellas like it, it’s not indie either.

        Lots of fuss about Billy Nomates at the moment.

        Didn’t like this on first listen. On second listen, it’s actually a proper banger.

        bosstrabs when I was studying at Leeds, I never heard that track at Basics, Ronson, Hard Times and Vague but kept hearing it at “Indie discos”. Don’t be a pedant 😁
