For all of the budding Dj’s on here, Los Tongos has you covered!
The Pete Tong DJ Academy
Will probably get a lot of criticism, but if I was younger and had the time/money I’d be interested in this. Maybe not from Tong directly, but imagine an hours tuition with Carl Cox ? Would be helpful for sure
Pete Tong teaching me how to beatmatch? TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
Carl - So Ed, did you think the tuition was any cop?
Me - Oh yes oh yes
Carl - Ledge!
I don’t like any of their DJing (Tong, Cox and JJ). Could never understand the deal with Jamie Jones other than track selection. The same with Cox. When he played at bedrock it was dreadful. One track prog, one track techno, repeat. It didn’t work and brought an awful crowd.
Tong must’ve been breathing a sigh of relief when cdj’s & sync buttons turned up.
I’ve got a lot of time for Tong, he’s done a lot for the scene - however I saw him at a festival last summer. He came on i think 5th or 6th on the roster. Every DJ up to that point had 100% flawless mixing, all software based of course. Tong comes on and of course his very first mix had a beat clash! I couldn’t help but grin a little
Saying that - the quality of the tunes he played was an improvement on those DJ’s before him, so it wasn’t all bad
Jamie Jones has got some audacity being on that

lovely lady and great fun too. Proper success.
They were great at GCSSS in 01 or 02.
Sister bliss has been on tinder hasn’t she? Got caught being a bit economical with her age.
