Not necessarily all that vibe but came across this and thought you might enjoy.

30 minute mix from Ryan Shaw, there’s a track list in the comments (can’t transfer it using eye-pad for some reason)

bosstrabs Horrific, Dave.

This is a recent guilty pleasure, though I’m not sure how guilty I am. Cardi B verse is fire.

Whole album is solid. Decent New Balance collab as well. Dave all over this like herpes on a rural in a Beijing brothel.

Bottom of the barrell Tik Tok music

Kaytranada is far far far from ‘tik tok’ music. Get with it lads.

“If I have more drinks my stomach goes pooh” was it?

rhouses I’d say it’s the worst song I’ve ever heard, but it’s exactly like all the other shit in an awful genre. Unlistenable garbage. Carry on though. 😂

That Method Man track… how far the mighty have fallen.

303abuser I’d say it’s the worst song I’ve ever heard

Welcome to rhouses taste in music. (and everything else)

I detest current pop music, but at least I can understand why a 12 year old girl would be into it. Enjoying this nonsense is just beyond my comprehension.

Amps Still got it IMO. Doesn’t miss a beat. Remy Ma verse somewhere towards the end, also fire.

Cankles-McJeggings lest we forget, this was a classic zero credibility moment from your good self!

            CHEERS!

rhouses he tortures his missus with ADID, I mean why would you expect him to have a clue about what comes out of his mouth?
It’s basically a war crime int it. including the whole burning man shenanigans. A novel even Ian McEwan couldn’t write.

‘oh Lee, all day I dream about your hot juicey Hong Kong expat posh cum in my arse.’

New Danger Mouse and Jemini album is solid.

And enjoying discovering Big L, had no clue but he was tight af.

I get what all the fuss is about. Tune.

Method Man had one good album in him (Tical).

(1.5, I suppose, counting his efforts with Redman)

rhouses I get what all the fuss is about. Tune.

              Jesus fucking christ rhouses.

Yes it really is a tune - but you’re 11 years late and nothing she’s made recently has been as good.

But go back and listen to the albums ‘Visions’ and ‘Halfaxa’, and the song ‘Realiti’ (music video version), for more of what you missed out on.

To be fair, Grimes has only just come available at Abdul’s Tape and CD X-change.

hugopal I am with Hugo on this.

Was listening to this track when it first came out. Regrettably, I missed her in Hong Kong by just a few days, if I had been there at the time I would have seen her on that tour.

Of recent tracks, though, I have heard this on a proper system (Dada in Beijing) and it was magnificent…

My son’s a fan. Violence is quality. Don’t like much else I have heard

Is it possible for rhouses’ to destroy a reputation thats already completely in tatters anymore than it already is? It looks like it.

Rhouses is just a massive fucking belter.

On paper she probably represents everything I would avoid like the plague. This played while I was watching music videos with my daughter and instinct told me to hit “next”, but damn, that beat dropped on Oblivion and it was “whoah”, sick break down half way through as well. Watched some live performances and was genuinely impressed by how tight she was. For someone associated with Elon Musk, was pleasantly surprised how she doesn’t take herself seriously… enjoyed her interviews.

hugopal I should commit to the albums end to end? Worth the time? Seems big “singles” driven, with the rest of the stuff being pretty weird and ‘avantgarde’.

Must be my hearing but I can’t make out a word of what she’s singing.

rhouses sorry to hijack this shite thread but what the fucks going on with India and state sponsored assassinations?

                      Halfaxa and Visions - yes.

Visions was more big “singles” driven but there’s still other good stuff on there. Whereas Halfaxa is for me her best and most cohesive album, which is overall more vibe-y and atmospheric and where even the most avantgarde stuff is enjoyable and works in tandem with everything else.

bosstrabs Of recent tracks, though, I have heard this on a proper system (Dada in Beijing) and it was magnificent…

It’s well produced but I think the song wanders in to being annoying.

That’s a shame - I’m presuming it’s the same tour where the footage from this video was taken from (seems like it was made in March 2013 and some of it is HK)?

Her last truly great song imo.

I got to see her in Berlin as part of her Art Angels tour and it was pretty good.

                          rhouses I think that’s Singapore.

It was filmed across various parts of her Asian tour that year, for instance Shanghai is also clearly visible in the video.
