  • Pilton...I mean Glasto' Festival

Along_the_Wire he finished with Bizarre Love Triangle

Your drugs must have been mint as that Chems track was his last one, fairly sure he didn’t do an encore too!

  • Heno replied to this.

Heno standing at the Arctic Monkeys like a wet rat on k was odd to say the least!

Lol, I remember my 1st and only time at Witness, same scenario except it was Suede on stage. If someone had handed me cyanide I would have taken the hand off him.

Smallman1 Couldn’t believe he played Mouth to Mouth, I’ve always loved it, didn’t think it was Digweed’s bag of chips I must say.

I can’t remember if I’ve heard Diggers play ‘Mouth to Mouth’ before, I feel like I might have done but can’t be sure. Although, I’ve def heard him play this at a Bedrock night (Oct 2013 at Fire Vauxhall) and it was pretty big:

mono-stereo Was thinking more Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish etc they’ve had on recently.

A popular music festival with some pop acts as headliners? Well I never!!

He also played Mouth to Mouth in Montreal earlier this year when he did another 11 hour set. And it’s on the Live in Montreal CD too.

Smallman1 yeah , cause I was standing right in front the sound desk trying to get my missus to say goodbye to all the rent a friends she made for the past hour and all when the lights where back on!

Heno get my missus to say goodbye to all the rent a friends she made for the past hour

        : 🤣

Along_the_Wire He used to rinse it at Bedrock.

This. I’ve heard him play it a few times. Takes the roof off every time.

The irony of Digweed dropping a recent Chems track so soon after the slagging they got by some on here. His tracklists over the years are full of their stuff.

Mouth to Mouth and just about everything else by Mathew Dear from that time is complete shite. Awful fuckin shite.

jonattonyeah Burning Man is no joke. It’s A LOT of work.

Yeah, the more I looked into it the madder it got, some of the airport hire places wanted proof of hotels the night before pick up with really specific pick up times, along with lots of financial proof and long lead in times… I can only assume that week / month is a horror show for them. Lots of conditions before you were allowed onto the playa too. Throw in all the travel and the cost and its harder and harder to justify from over here. I’m pretty much done with flying too.

Amps I’m pretty much done with flying too.

              Why not sail?

5 days swirling round the Irish Sea before washing up on the shore of the Isle of Man screaming “where the party at”

Amps Reminds me of that Fundacion waffle…. however, if I was off my chops at a festival I’d been loving it front & centre.

Got through a shedload of vids last night. Robert Plant seemed to be the best of the lot imo, his voice sounded great all things considered. Incapable by Murphy sounded good. By the end I couldn’t stick looking at all the trust funders down the front, sober as fuck, with their shades on and phones in the air, luminous headbands all over the shop.

The BBC footage would excel if they went off the beaten track and showed a better selection from all over the Festival. It would increase the quality of people watching anyway.

Dan I remember Sasha dropping the Carl Craig remix at fabric a few years back. Sounded incredible when the sub bass finally came in.

Yeah I wish they would show a bit more of the electronic stuff.

                    mono-stereo
I read the other day that the reason they can’t show any DJ sets is down to licencing issues. They could’ve shown bicep live at least

I get second hand embarrassment watching DJ’s on the TV. Remember BBC2 doing it once from Cream and the levels of cringe were off the chart!

alistair The irony of Digweed dropping a recent Chems track so soon after the slagging they got by some on here. His tracklists over the years are full of their stuff.

Diggers could play their full back catalogue for all I care, that doesn’t stop me thinking the chems are overrated.

Bicep were absolutely sensational at Glastonbury.

Dubman thought they were great, not worth watching though, might aswell just listen to the set on mixcloud.

LT42 agreed, would be good to see more from the festival, it’s got so much more than just the main stages.

Love how the lead story on the BBC news website is about the rising Covid rates, and attached is a picture of a crowd at Glasnost – proper Daily Mail vibes

Dubman that actually makes sense. Bands tend to play their own catalog, DJs will play whatever.

Homegrove Bands tend to play their own catalog, DJs will play whatever.

                          Cheers for this H.

Licensing gets away with murder. It really is a scourge in situations like this. Does it hamper sales in the long run? I think yes.

BlainSA I was there, those were the days. Listening to that, the missus said “Dear god, turn that shit off”. My review some years later is that Diggers should at least have the decency to finally drop the tune in after looping the arse out of the breakdown.

nicksneddon 28 out of 30 of us got the rona and I got it the week before. It’s super mild for everyone and no-one gives a shit. Obviously don’t visit elderly relatives.
