        To continue the part-theme of this thread being that Deborah De Luca is the absolute trashiest DJ out there, she’s nicked one of Maria Nayler’s vocals without crediting it:

        It was one of Maria’s lamest vocals to begin with, but still, that’s also probably why De Luca wanted to take it as opposed to say ‘Be As One’ or ‘Headstrong’.

          Dubman yeah the cymbals get super annoying, but otherwise not terrible.
          Then again, I listened through my tablet’s speakers so I’m probably missing discrepancies.
          It was tidy at less than 6 minutes, thankfully.

            Anfisa had probably never even heard of Robert Miles or Maria Nayler until De Luca made her track.

            Not that the original track was particularly good, but Anfisa’s version manages to be even more cheesy and cringe than both the original and De Luca’s.

                Christian Hmm, De Luca’s version was officially released one month after this clip - so tough to tell from that which ripped the other off. Both are entirely feasible given they’re both complete charlatans!

                  Are those two taken seriously as big business techno names these days?

                    Although most of the gigs she somehow gets seem random places I’ve never heard of with other people I’ve never heard of.

                    Anfisa headlined Room 1 of Fabric last month!?! She’s also had a Radio 1 Residency and just did an Essential Mix. She’s also playing an Awakenings Easter weekender ( https://ra.co/events/1671841 ) and Sonar Lisbon.

                    It’s nuts. Don’t know how some of the others they occasionally brush shoulders with deal with the cringe.
